A young woman collects the recipes and the moving life stories of refugees into an unusual
cookbook. On her journey, she meets a Tunisian cook seeking asylum in Croatia and 22-year-
old Sandra, who fled Syria and is trying to build a new life for herself. Can the language of
food tell the story of that which has been lost forever?
